I was fortunate enough to be offered NCS.

Everything was explained to me beforehand and I was made to feel very comfortable.

Electric shocks were given in short bursts and, although not a pleasant experience, they only lasted a couple of seconds, then stopped as abruptly as they had started. Sometimes it made my fingers jump. Most of the time, I experienced slight shocks that would build up gradually and at no point did I find this unbearable.

The time taken to give this treatment passed very quickly.

If I was offered this procedure again, I would accept it without fear or trepidation.
